En el primer cap\u00edtulo se estudia el problema de muskat, que modela la evoluci\u00f3n de la frontera libre dada por dos fluidos con diferentes caracter\u00edsticas en un medio poroso. En el segundo se trata la evoluci\u00f3n de frentes de temperatura mediante la ecuaci\u00f3n quasi-geostr\u00f3fica. el problema de muskat  modela usando la ley de darcy, la evoluci\u00f3n de la interfase dada por dos fluidos incompresibles de diferentes viscosidades y densidades. En esta tesis se considera el caso de fluidos con diferentes densidades e igual viscosidad,  presentando la ecuaci\u00f3n de evoluci\u00f3n de la interfase parametrizada en forma de funci\u00f3n, evitando un tipo de singularidad en el fluido cuando la interfase colapsa. En el caso estable, en que el fluido m\u00e1s denso est\u00e1 debajo, se prueba que el problema est\u00e1 bien propuesto. En el caso inestable, en que el fluido m\u00e1s denso est\u00e1 arriba, se prueba que el problema est\u00e1 mal propuesto. la evoluci\u00f3n de frentes mediante la equaci\u00f3n quasi-geostr\u00f3fica (qg) considera el problema de frontera libre dado por una temperatura que toma dos valores constantes y que evoluciona mediante qg. En esta tesis se prueba un teorema de existencia local para este tipo de soluciones, considerando la evoluci\u00f3n de una cantidad que indica cuando la frontera libre es inyectiva y est\u00e1 parametrizada con velocidad positiva.
