En mam\u00edferos y levaduras, este complejo es un heterotr\u00edmero, sin embargo en plantas, se han descrito subunidades at\u00edpicas que confieren mayor diversidad en su composici\u00f3n. El objetivo principal de esta tesis doctoral es la caracterizaci\u00f3n del complejo en ma\u00edz, dividi\u00e9ndose en dos partes: la caracterizaci\u00f3n molecular de la prote\u00edna zmakinbetay y la identificaci\u00f3n de nuevos componentes. Se ha demostrado que zmakinbetay es una prote\u00edan n\u00facleo-citoplasm\u00e1tica inducida por estr\u00e9s osm\u00f3tico en pl\u00e1ntula. Estudios estructurales han permitido determinar la dimerizaci\u00f3n, in vitro, del dominio conservado kis. Se han identificado y aislado  otros componentes de la familia snrk1: 2 subunidades catal\u00edticas (zmsnrk1a y zmsnrk1b), 2 subunidades reguladoras (zmy1y zmy2) y una subunidad del tipo beta (zmbeta1). La conservaci\u00f3n funcional de estas subunidades se ha demostrado por complementaci\u00f3n en levadura. mediante doble h\u00edbrido en levadura se han determinado las interacciones entre subunidades. Se ha caracterizado la subunidad catal\u00edtica, zmsnrk1b, a nivel de expresi\u00f3n, actividad y localizaci\u00f3n subcelular y mediante doble h\u00edbrido se han identificado diversas
