Traditionalemnte, esta percepci\u00f3n nos permite obtener una representaci\u00f3n bidimensional del mundo.  Por  otro lado, la compleja visi\u00f3n humana es capaz de obtener informaci\u00f3n de la profundidad de la escena. Es por este motivo, que durante los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se han presentado diferentes c\u00e1meras tridimensionales, es decir, sistemas de visi\u00f3n que permiten obtener informaci\u00f3n de la profundidad de una escena. No obstante, estas c\u00e1meras solo pueden obtenir una representaci\u00f3n parcial de la escena. Por otro lado, la mente humana es capaz de extrapolar e imaginar-se la totalidad del objecto. B\u00e1sicamente, la mente humana aprovecah informaci\u00f3n del objeto (simetrias) u observaciones anteriores del mismo objeto o objetos similares para substituir aquellas partes del objeto que estan fuera del alcance del ojo humano. uno de los primeros pasos para imitar el comportamiento humano consiste en obtenir un modelo \u00fanico de la escena a partir de un conjunto de adquisiciones parciales de la misma. la idea principal es el alineamiento de diferentes adquisiciones para obtener una representaci\u00f3n \u00fanica del objeto. Para alinear dos o m\u00e1s superficies, es necessario minimizar la distancia entre ellas. el objetivo de esta tesis es el estudio de las diferentes t\u00e9cnicas para alinear un conjunto de vistas tridimensionales. Este estudio nos ha permitido detectar los principales problemas de las t\u00e9cnicas existentes, aportando una soluci\u00f3n novedosa y resolviendo alguna de las carencias detectadas, especialmente en el alineamiento de dichas vistas en aplicaciones que requiran tiempo real.Para adquirir estas vistas tridimensionales, durante esta tesis se ha dise\u00f1ado e implementado un sensor tridimensional manual que nos permite adquirir superficies tridimensionales con total libertad de movimientos.
