En las zonas m\u00e1s internas del sistema se desarrolla una asociaci\u00f3n mineral as-au, posteriormente una asociaci\u00f3n cu-ni-co\u00c2\u00b1u y tras esta una con cu-(zn-pb). Con car\u00e1cter m\u00e1s tard\u00edo y en zonas cada vez m\u00e1s distales, someras y fr\u00edas, es posible encontrar asociaciones de zn-pb-as, sb-(pb-as) y finalmente de hg-se. Adem\u00e1s hay una completa parag\u00e9nesis superg\u00e9nica.   son mineralizaciones de \u00aboro invisible\u00bb en menas refractarias. El au est\u00e1 incluido en pirita arsenical y arsenopirita precoces supuestamente en soluci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida y fue transportado en forma de complejos bisulfurados.   est\u00e1n relacionadas con la fase de relajaci\u00f3n tect\u00f3nica tardiorog\u00e9nica de la cordillera herc\u00ednica, habi\u00e9ndose datado por diversos m\u00e9todos en 269+\/-5 ma (p\u00e9rmico).  el au, as, s y si, y en menor medida pb, ag o hg, parecen derivar de la lixiviaci\u00f3n de la pila sedimentaria. El cu, ni, co, zn y u tienen relaci\u00f3n con la actividad \u00edgnea tardiherc\u00ednica.  en los niveles mineralizados m\u00e1s profundos los fluidos eran acuosocarb\u00f3nicos, de origen principalmente magm\u00e1tico y con temperaturas entre 200 y 340\u00c2\u00bac. En los niveles intermedios los fluidos ya son acuososalinos, con un importante aporte de aguas connatas y quedaron atrapados a unos 200\u00c2\u00bac. En los niveles m\u00e1s superficiales los fluidos eran hipersalinos, densos, m\u00e1s oxidantes y con una participaci\u00f3n importante de aguas mete\u00f3ricas. Las temperaturas evolucionan de ~130\u00c2\u00bac para las asociaciones cu-ni-co\u00c2\u00b1u y cu-(zn-pb), a ~100\u00c2\u00bac para las asociaciones zn-pb-as, sb-(pb-as) y
