La principal expresi\u00f3n fisiol\u00f3gica de map17 se concentra en el t\u00fabulo contorneado proximal del ri\u00f1\u00f3n. Todav\u00eda no ha sido posible determinar la funci\u00f3n fisiol\u00f3gica de esta prote\u00edna, aunque estudios recientes han implicado a map17 en la regulaci\u00f3n del transportador renal de fosfato, napi-iia. Esta implicaci\u00f3n en el control de la actividad del transportador est\u00e1 vinculada a la formaci\u00f3n de complejos macromoleculares a trav\u00e9s de la interacci\u00f3n con prote\u00ednas pdz, los miembros de la familia nherf (nherf1-4). Estas cuatro prote\u00ednas interaccionan tanto con map17 como con napi-iia, a trav\u00e9s de un motivo de uni\u00f3n a dominios pdz localizado en el extremo carboxilo de ambas prote\u00ednas. La coexpresi\u00f3n de map17 con la prote\u00edna nherf3 (o nherf4) en la l\u00ednea celular ok, induc\u00eda un proceso de internalizaci\u00f3n del transportador de fosfato desde la membrana apical hacia el aparato de golgi, provocando una disminuci\u00f3n de la actividad de transporte de fosfato. Este efecto no se produc\u00eda con las prote\u00ednas nherf1 y 2. el trabajo realizado en esta tesis doctoral pretend\u00eda ser una continuaci\u00f3n de los estudios que han relacionado a las prote\u00ednas pdz y a map17 con la regulaci\u00f3n del transportador de fosfato, napi-iia, en el t\u00fabulo renal. Para eso, estudiamos las posibles interacciones entre map17 y otras prote\u00ednas pdz que se expresan en el t\u00fabulo proximal: pist\/cal y shank2e. Determinamos que ambas prote\u00ednas pdz interaccionaban con map17 mediante t\u00e9cnicas bioqu\u00edmicas in vitro. Adem\u00e1s, observamos que la co-expresi\u00f3n de shank2e con map17 induc\u00eda un cambio en el patr\u00f3n de expresi\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna pdz, que ahora aparec\u00eda en el aparato de golgi. La prote\u00edna pdz pist, por otro lado, parec\u00eda interaccionar tambi\u00e9n con el transportador napi-iia.
