Desde un punto de vista te\u00f3rico han proliferado los modelos sobre la determinaci\u00f3n de los salarios. Desde el punto de vista emp\u00edrico se ha constatado un aumento de la desigualdad, especialmente remarcable entre los trabajadores m\u00e1s y menos cualificados. El trabajo revisa los argumentos te\u00f3ricos walrasianos y no walrasianos sobre la determinaci\u00f3n de salarios (capital humano, diferencias compensadoras, salarios de eficiencia, internos-externos y modelos de negociaci\u00f3n y sindicatos) y sus implicaciones para la estructura salarial. Utilizando datos de las encuestas de estructura salarial de 1995 y 2002 (datos individuales sobre ingresos, caracter\u00edsticas de los trabajadores y de los puestos de trabajo) se analiza la
