En el modelo de sine-gordon se estudia la relaci\u00f3n entre la din\u00e1mica de solitotes topol\u00f3gicos, o kinks, en secuencias inhomog\u00e9neas, y la funcionalidad de la secuencia gen\u00f3mica a estudiar. Para ello se desarrollan t\u00e9cnicas de an\u00e1lisis en coordenadas colectivas que permiten predecir el comportamiento de estos kinks en secuencias inhomog\u00e9neas en t\u00e9rminos de un potencial efectivo que define la posici\u00f3n del centro del kink. Dada la buena aproximaci\u00f3n  que produce esta descripci\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n se ha realizado el estudio del m\u00e9todo de coordenadas, aplicado esta vez al modelo de sine-gordon continuo con una perturbaci\u00f3n sinusoidal, donde la anchura del kink juega un papel importante en el problema. Tras un an\u00e1lisis muy cuidadoso del modelo aplicado al adn, concluimos que el modelo no puede ser utilizado para la b\u00fasqueda de elementos relevantes en la secuencia gen\u00f3mica, como otros autores hab\u00edan pensado anteriormente. En el caso del modelo de peyrard-bishop, se repasan las soluciones din\u00e1micas del modelo m\u00e1s utilizadas y se genera una expresi\u00f3n nueva para las soluciones de tipo pared de dominio en sistemas finitos, tanto en la aproximaci\u00f3n en el l\u00edmite continuo como en el l\u00edmite discreto, y se estudia su estabilidad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
