Las micropart\u00edculas obtenidas se caracterizaron mediante porosimetr\u00eda de nitr\u00f3geno y mercurio, y microscop\u00eda \u00f3ptica y electr\u00f3nica de barrido. Adem\u00e1s, se realizaron experimentos de adsorci\u00f3n (equilibrio y cin\u00e9tica) de los amino\u00e1cidos l-fenilalanina y l-tript\u00f3fano, y de la macromol\u00e9cula alb\u00famina de suero bovino (bsa). El an\u00e1lisis de los resultados obtenidos permiti\u00f3 obtener correlaciones cuantitativas entre las condiciones de s\u00edntesis de las micropart\u00edculas (concentraci\u00f3n de divinilbenceno, %dvb, y fracci\u00f3n monom\u00e9rica, fm) y sus caracter\u00edsticas estructurales (\u00e1rea superficial espec\u00edfica bet, y vol\u00famenes de micro-, meso- y macroporos) y de adsorci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, se determin\u00f3 que el intervalo de condiciones de operaci\u00f3n que permite la s\u00edntesis de micropart\u00edculas con una estructura porosa adecuada para adsorber la macromol\u00e9cula modelo bsa, y con una alta resistencia mec\u00e1nica, es de 25.0-55.0 %dvb y de fm=0.50-0.60. Dentro de este intervalo, se determin\u00f3 que el adsorbente con caracter\u00edsticas \u00f3ptimas de adsorci\u00f3n es aquel sintetizado con 42.5 %dvb y fm=0.50, por lo que se funcionaliz\u00f3 mediante recubrimiento con poli(vinil alcohol), entrecruzamiento con glutaraldeh\u00eddo y posterior inmovilizaci\u00f3n de un ligando de afinidad, comprob\u00e1ndose su utilidad como adsorbente de la prote\u00edna lisozima. Adicionalmente, se encontr\u00f3 que una disminuci\u00f3n en la concentraci\u00f3n de etilestireno favorece la formaci\u00f3n de macroporos. las micropart\u00edculas macroreticulares de poli(gma-co-egdma) sintetizadas se caracterizaron mediante an\u00e1lisis elemental, espectroscop\u00eda infrarroja, experimentos de sorci\u00f3n de disolventes, porosimetr\u00eda de nitr\u00f3geno y mercurio, y microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de barrido, obteni\u00e9ndose correlaciones cuantitativas entre sus condiciones de s\u00edntesis (%egdma y fm) y sus caracter\u00edsticas estructurales y de sorci\u00f3n de disolventes. Adicionalmente, se probaron diferentes m\u00e9todos de hidrofilizaci\u00f3n, obteni\u00e9ndose los mejores resultados tras la reacci\u00f3n de los grupos epoxi con tetra(etilenglicol) metil
