Este trabajo de tesis doctoral tiene como objetivo: evaluar el comportamiento agron\u00f3mico y medioambiental de las vinazas de remolacha azucarera utilizadas como fertilizante. Se estudi\u00f3 el valor fertilizante de este subproducto, mediante evaluaciones de muestras de tierra tratadas con diferentes dosis y posterior medida de la evoluci\u00f3n delos principales par\u00e1metros que caracterizan la fertilidad del suelo: ph, conductividad el\u00e9ctrica, materia org\u00e1nica, relaci\u00f3n c\/n carbono en co2 desprendido, carbono en extracto h\u00famico total, carbono en \u00e1cidos h\u00famicos, carbono en \u00e1cidos f\u00falvicos, nitr\u00f3geno total, nitr\u00f3geno n\u00edtrico, nitr\u00f3geno amoniacal en soluci\u00f3n h2o y kcl. Adem\u00e1s se ha valorado el riesgo de contaminaci\u00f3n de acu\u00edferos mediante estudios experimentales en columnas de lixiviaci\u00f3n y el efecto de al aplicaci\u00f3n de las vinazas de remolacha, sobre la microfauna del suelo, mediante bioensayos en laboratorio y tierra. el aporte creciente de vinaza, contribuye significativamente al contenido  de mo del suelo, aumenta los niveles de nt y la disponibilidad de n-no3-, lo que significa un incremento de la fertilidad nitrogenada del suelo, por cuanto hay m\u00e1s nitr\u00f3geno disponible para la planta, aunque tambi\u00e9n, mayor riesgo de contaminaci\u00f3n de acu\u00edferos por lavado de nitratos. el impacto ambiental por lixiviado de nitratos provenientes de la vinaza aplicada como fertilizante, se manifiesta por debajo de los valores obtenidos para los fertilizantes nitrogenados qu\u00edmicos: urea y nitrato am\u00f3nico comparados y muy similar o levemente por encima de los fertilizante de nitrificaci\u00f3n
