Hasta el inicio del proyecto de tesis doctoral tan solo se hab\u00edan descrito una serie de sustratos in vitro de la quinasa, as\u00ed como la definici\u00f3n de sus dominios funcionales y el patr\u00f3n de expresi\u00f3n en tejidos murinos. Los modelos de ganancia, y de p\u00e9rdida de funci\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna, suger\u00edan que \u00e9sta podr\u00eda tener un papel fundamental en el desarrollo, as\u00ed como la funcionalidad del sistema nervioso central. El trabajo realizado se ha enfocado en el estudio funcional de la interacci\u00f3n de dyrk1a y sprouty2 dentro del contexto de v\u00edas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n intracelulares dependientes del factor de crecimiento fibrobl\u00e1stico ( fgf), utilizando t\u00e9cnicas en biolog\u00eda molecular y celular. En concreto se ha identificado in vivo que dyrk1a y sprouty2 interaccionan tanto en sistemas de sobreexpresi\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas, como en el cerebro murino, donde las dos prote\u00ednas  parecen jugar un papel importante en la diferenciaci\u00f3n y\/o proliferaci\u00f3n celular. A nivel funcional se ha definido a dyrk1a como un nuevo modulador positivo de la activaci\u00f3n de la v\u00eda de quinasas activadas por mit\u00f3genos (mapk) dependientes de fgf, y como una regulador negativo de la actividad de sprouty2(un inhibidor de la v\u00eda) por fosforilaci\u00f3n en la treonina en posici\u00f3n 75.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
