Rosario <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los factores transcripcionales bzip son una familia de prote\u00ednas implicadas en la regulaci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica de una variada gama de procesos en las plantas. Su principal caracter\u00edsticas estructural es la presencia de un dominio b\u00e1sico capaz de unir dna, realiz\u00e1ndose esta uni\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de d\u00edmeros que se forman una manera espec\u00edfica. La expresi\u00f3n de muchos genes de prote\u00ednas de reserva, tanto en la semilla de cereales como de dicotiled\u00f3neas, depende de la expresi\u00f3n de los factores bzip del tipo opaco-2 de ma\u00edz (grupo c en arabidopsis). En cebada los factores blz1 y blz2 y en arabidopsis los factores atbzip10 y atbzip25 participan en la regulaci\u00f3n g\u00e9nica durante la maduraci\u00f3n de la semilla. En esta tesis se plante\u00f3 la b\u00fasqueda de factores bzip involucrados en la regulaci\u00f3n g\u00e9ncia durante la maduraci\u00f3n de la semilla mediante la heterodimerizaci\u00f3n con las prote\u00ednas bzip antes mencionados. basados en la heterodimerizaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica entre prote\u00ednas de los grupos c y s1, se identific\u00f3 a atbzip53 (pertenecientes a este \u00faltimo) como posible candidato implicado en regulaci\u00f3n g\u00e9nica en semilla. El an\u00e1lisis de transcriptoma mediante hibridaci\u00f3n de micromatrices de plantas que sobreexpresan atbzip53, permiti\u00f3 detectar la inducci\u00f3n de genes espec\u00edficos de semilla. Adem\u00e1s determinamos que atbzip53 se expresa en el embri\u00f3n durante la maduraci\u00f3n de la semilla de arabidopsis atbzip53 es capaz de formar heterod\u00edmeros con atbzip10 y con atbzip25. La formaci\u00f3n de estos heterod\u00edmeros es necesaria para la activaci\u00f3n de los promotores de los genes que codifican alb\u00famina 2s2 y cruciferina en ensayos de expresi\u00f3n transitoria. Se determin\u00f3 que si bien estos factores son capaces de unirse al dna como homod\u00edmeros, la afinidad de los heterodimeros es mayor. Se ha descrito la acci\u00f3n sin\u00e9rgica de atbzip10, atbzip25 y abl3 en la regulaci\u00f3n de los genes de prote\u00ednas reserva.
