Las mezclas binarias exhiben a nivel microsc\u00f3pico la separaci\u00f3n de fases existente entre ambos componentes debido a su diferente naturaleza qu\u00edmica. Adem\u00e1s, son semicristalinas, independientemente de la composici\u00f3n del componente cristalizable, y polimorfas dependiendo del tratamiento t\u00e9rmico impuesto. Con objeto de mejorar la adhesi\u00f3n en las interfases se ha procedido a la incorporaci\u00f3n de un tercer componente y a la aplicaci\u00f3n de diferentes dosis de irradiaci\u00f3n con electrones de alta energ\u00eda. Ambas metodolog\u00edas de compatibilizaci\u00f3n conducen al desarrollo de una interfase considerablemente difuminado y a la disminuci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o de los dominios de ambos componentes, siendo \u00e9stos as\u00ed como la morfolog\u00eda exhibida dependientes de la composici\u00f3n de la mezcla y de la fracci\u00f3n en peso del agente interfacial o de la dosis de irradiaci\u00f3n.  en relaci\u00f3n con los compatibilizantes en las mezclas ternarias, aparte de utilizarse unos de origen comercial, se ha sintetizado una familia de copol\u00edmeros metaloc\u00e9nicos de etileno-10-undecen-1-ol. Se ha observado que la copolimerizaci\u00f3n directa conlleva una gran p\u00e9rdida de la actividad catal\u00edtica del metaloceno aument\u00e1ndose \u00e9sta al incrementarse el contenido del comon\u00f3mero en la alimentaci\u00f3n.
