Javier <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A pesar de los esfuerzos realizados durante muchos a\u00f1os, los mecanismos responsables del desarrollo de tolerancia a los f\u00e1rmacos opi\u00e1ceos no se conocen del todo. La principal finalidad de esta tesis es el estudio de los mecanismos adaptativos que suceden durante la aparici\u00f3n de tolerancia a los opi\u00e1ceos. El estudio que aqu\u00ed se expone demuestra, una vez m\u00e1s, que le proceso de tolerancia a opi\u00e1ceos es altamente complejo e intrincado.     el \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico potencia la desensibilizaci\u00f3n de los receptores opioide su a trav\u00e9s de la generaci\u00f3n de especies reactivas de ox\u00edgeno, las cuales mediante proceso oxidativos promueven la desensibilizaci\u00f3n y la consecuente tolerancia analg\u00e9sica al opioide. Sabemos que los opioides, a pesar de inducir analgesia al opioide. Sabemos que los opioides, a pesar de inducir analgesia mediante la activaci\u00f3n de un mismo receptor, el u, acaban por desensibilizar dicho receptor en diferentes \u00e1reas cerebrales. Adem\u00e1s, existe un interacci\u00f3n entre este sistema el cannabionoide, de tal manera que el tratamiento cr\u00f3nico con opi\u00e1ceos termina por desensibilizar el receptor cannabinoide cb1. Una regi\u00f3n en la que coinciden tanto la morfina como la metadona en desensibilizar al receptor cb1 es el \u00e1rea tegmental ventral, precisamente el \u00e1rea donde se origina la sensaci\u00f3n euforizante y placentera caracter\u00edsticas de muchas drogas de abuso.
