Para la consecuci\u00f3n de estos objetivos ha sido fundamental el an\u00e1lisis previo, y posterior establecimiento de similitudes, con las ostras actuales recogidas en estuarios de cantabria y galicia.     las microestructuras de las ostras crassostrea gigas actuales: regular simple prism\u00e1tica rsp, regular foliada rf y chalk, aparecen tambi\u00e9n en crassostrea sp.F\u00f3sil. Los an\u00e1lisis esclerocron\u00f3gicos y geoqu\u00edmicos de alta resoluci\u00f3n con microsonda electr\u00f3nica sobre la rf, se\u00f1alan cierta estacionalidad clim\u00e1tica durante el albiense superior-cenomaniense inferior de la cvc: esta estacionalidad se ve tambi\u00e9n refrenada por la mineralog\u00eda de arcillas encontrada.  los estudios morfol\u00f3gicos sistem\u00e1ticos mediante \u00edndices biom\u00e9tricos en c.Gigas son una herramienta eficaz, y debajo coste, para inferior la presencia de agentes contaminantes en el medio, como el tributilesta\u00f1o tbt, con inter\u00e9s
