Dado que el factor de retenci\u00f3n puede afectarse con la temperatura a trav\u00e9s del grado de disociaci\u00f3n se estudian las constantes de disociaci\u00f3n de varias sustancias en  de acetonitrilo\/agua se determinan  constantes diel\u00e9ctricas, densidades y factores para convertir las escalas de ph (w,s) a (s,s). Se estudian  los comportamientos de un conjunto de analitos en ambos solventes y se establecen criterios experimentales a fin de obtener efecto de la temperatura sobre la selectividad. finalmente se desarrolla un modelo para predecir el cambio en el factor de retenci\u00f3n con la temperatura de sustancias ionizables a partir del valor a una temperatura inicial.
