Par\u00e1metros qu\u00edmicos tales como el contenido en s\u00f3lidos solubles y par\u00e1metros f\u00edsico-mec\u00e1nicos como la firmeza resultan determinantes para clasificar el producto en distintas categor\u00edas de calidad. En este contexto, el objetivo de la presente tesis doctoral es el de contribuir a mejorar la evaluaci\u00f3n de la calidad interna de manzanas. la espectroscopia de reflectancia en infrarrojo cercano (nir) se pude emplear como t\u00e9cnica no destructiva para la estimaci\u00f3n del contenido en s\u00f3lido solubles en frutas. Sin embargo, el uso comercial de dicha t\u00e9cnica se encuentra limitado por la necesidad de ajustar frecuentemente los modelos de predicci\u00f3n. Esto puede ser debido a la falta de repetibilidad y reproducibilidad de los equipos. Por este motivo, se propone una metodolog\u00eda para caracterizar metrol\u00f3gicamente diferentes espectrofot\u00f3metros comerciales: uno basado en un monocromador, uno de transformada de fourier (ft-nir) y otro basado en un conjunto de diodos (da). Para ello se emplearon dos m\u00e9todos  estad\u00edsticos: el estudio de los coeficientes de variaci\u00f3n (cv) en funci\u00f3n de las longitudes de onda y el an\u00e1lisis de componentes de varianza de la reflecancia media en funci\u00f3n el tiempo. El m\u00e1ximo cv obtenido para cada uno de los equipos en el rango estudiado (1020-1690 nm) fue siempre menor del 1,13%. Del an\u00e1lisis de componentes de varianza se concluye que tanto el tt-nir como el da pueden considerarse como adecuados desde el punto de vista de su repetibilidad y la reproducibilidad, con un ratio rm\/ra menor 15%.  otra limitaci\u00f3n de la espectrometr\u00eda nir es la dificultad de emplear los modelos de calibraci\u00f3n generados en equipos distintos sobre los que han sido desarrollados.
