Por ello, se requieren procesos compactos y m\u00e1s eficaces.En el presente trabajo se pretende desarrollar una tecnolog\u00eda basada en un reactor de membrana catal\u00edtica tipo contactor para laoxidaci\u00f3n en fase h\u00fameda de contaminantes org\u00e1nicos presentes en medio acuoso, como lo es el fenol. Se busca que el uso de unamembrana catal\u00edtica mejore algunos de los inconvenientes que presentan los tratamientos convencionales, como pueden ser:limitaciones en eficacia de contacto entre las fases reactivas, necesidad de separaci\u00f3n posterior del s\u00f3lido catal\u00edtico y optimizaci\u00f3nde las condiciones de trabajo (presi\u00f3n y temperatura) para la eliminaci\u00f3n total de los contaminantes en fase acuosa. Con el reactor demembrana estar\u00edamos ante una alternativa tecnol\u00f3gica limpia y eficiente, competitiva en costes y rendimientos dentro del amplioabanico de tratamientos de aguas residuales existentes.Este trabajo aborda la oxidaci\u00f3n h\u00fameda de fenol utilizando catalizadores tipo \u00f3xidos mixtos a base de cerio, ya que est\u00e1ampliamente descrito en la literatura c\u00f3mo la combinaci\u00f3n del cerio con metales de transici\u00f3n permite la obtenci\u00f3n de solucioness\u00f3lidas u \u00f3xidos mixtos con propiedades redox mejoradas, que a su vez condicionan la actividad catal\u00edtica en la degradaci\u00f3n decontaminantes org\u00e1nicos en fase acuosa. En particular aqu\u00ed se estudian cata lizadores de ce\/mn con relaci\u00f3n at\u00f3mica 1:1,catalizadores de ce\/zr con relaci\u00f3n at\u00f3mica 3:1 y el dopado de los mismos con pt.En primer lugar se ha estudiado la preparaci\u00f3n y caracterizaci\u00f3n de catalizadores m\u00e1sicos para luego proceder a la preparaci\u00f3n demembranas catal\u00edticas basadas en estos materiales,
