El uso de hidrocarburos l\u00edquidos se beneficia de la infraestructura ya creada para el almacenamiento y distribuci\u00f3n de combustibles. Para este proceso se emplean catalizadores de tipo metal\/soportado basados en n\u00edquel. Los esfuerzos actuales de investigaci\u00f3n se centran en el desarrollo de nuevos catalizadores m\u00e1s activos y estables en un rango amplio de condiciones de operaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como flexibles para reformar distintos hidrocarburos. en este trabajo doctoral se ha estudiado el comportamiento de \u00f3xidos mixtos de n\u00edquel, magnesio y aluminio, obtenidos mediante descomposici\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica de hidr\u00f3xidos dobles laminares que ofrecen la oportunidad de controlar la naturaleza de los centros activos, de su entorno, as\u00ed como la textura y estabilidad del catalizador, en la reacci\u00f3n de reformado de nafta con vapor de agua. Se ha estudiado el efecto de las condiciones de operaci\u00f3n sobre la conversi\u00f3n de hidrocarburo y distribuci\u00f3n de productos de reacci\u00f3n. Y tambi\u00e9n el efecto de algunas variables modificadas durante la s\u00edntesis del catalizador, as\u00ed como la composici\u00f3n e introducci\u00f3n de promotores, sobre la actividad catal\u00edtica que muestran los materiales preparados. De los mejores catalizadores se ha estudiado su estabilidad y se ha realizado un estudio cin\u00e9tico y mecan\u00edstico del proceso. Por \u00faltimo se ha estudiado la actividad de estos materiales en el reformado de gas natural, diesel y aceite de girasol.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
