Este problema es especialmente importante en regiones donde la propagaci\u00f3n es evanescente. En regiones no-evanescentes, donde la onda asociada a una part\u00edcula tiene una fase proporcional al tiempo, la f\u00edsica ondulatoria nos ense\u00f1a que el tiempo de tr\u00e1nsito viene dado por la derivada de la fase con respecto a la frecuencia. Por el contrario, en regiones evanescentes no existe esta fase, con lo cual, no disponemos de una expresi\u00f3n para el tiempo de tr\u00e1nsito (llamado com\u00fanmente en la literatura cient\u00edfica \u00abtiempo t\u00fanel\u00bb). el principal objetivo de esta memoria consiste en evaluar la dependencia del tiempo t\u00fanel y su indeterminaci\u00f3n con la anchura de un paquete de ondas que atraviesa una regi\u00f3n evanescente. Para ello calculamos el tiempo t\u00fanel y su indeterminaci\u00f3n mediante un m\u00e9todo num\u00e9rico basado en la evoluci\u00f3n de los paquetes de ondas. Este procedimiento nos va a permitir confirmar el m\u00e9todo del tiempo de presencia, el cual resulta muy apropiado para evaluar los efectos de tama\u00f1o finito del paquete de ondas en el tiempo t\u00fanel. Dado que las expresiones para el tiempo t\u00fanel son relativamente complejas de manejar en la pr\u00e1ctica, efectuamos aproximaciones de las mismas para obtener ecuaciones mucho m\u00e1s pr\u00e1cticas con un buen l\u00edmite de validez. Adem\u00e1s, aplicamos estos resultados a estructuras f\u00edsicas que forman parte de dispositivos electr\u00f3nicos con inter\u00e9s tecnol\u00f3gico, como una superred o una doble barrera de
