En esta investigaci\u00f3n se lleva a cabo un estudio sobre la coagulaci\u00f3n-filtraci\u00f3n en lecho granular, como parte del tratamiento terciario del agua residual depurada, procedente de la estaci\u00f3n depuradora de aguas residuales de santa cruz de tenerife, para ser reutilizada en riego agr\u00edcola, mediante una compleja infraestructura encargada de transportar, almacenar y distribuir el agua depurada a explotaciones agr\u00edcolas del sur de la isla. en un primer t\u00e9rmino, se han optimizado diferentes condiciones de operaci\u00f3n y tipo de coagulante, mediante pruebas de jar test, para luego ser utilizados en el proceso de filtraci\u00f3n. Se ha seguido la eficacia del proceso de depuraci\u00f3n del agua a trav\u00e9s de la medida de la turbidez inicial y final del agua principalmente, adem\u00e1s de otros par\u00e1metros fisico-qu\u00edmicos. en segundo lugar, se han seleccionado los mejores coagulantes para su aplicaci\u00f3n a un litro piloto, donde se estudi\u00f3 la influencia de otras variables, tales como material filtrante a utilizar, altura de lecho, velocidad de filtraci\u00f3n, para poder determinar las mejores condiciones de filtraci\u00f3n y mejorar la calidad del efluente de la estaci\u00f3n depuradora de aguas residuales (edar). Asimismo, se ha estimado la importancia que puede tener la turbidez inicial en la calidad del agua a obtener tras el proceso de filtraci\u00f3n. se han relacionado mediante ecuaciones emp\u00edricas, el rendimiento del filtro con las variables de filtraci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como la turbidez del efluente con su contenido de materia en suspensi\u00f3n. en tercer lugar, se han realizado experimentos de filtraci\u00f3n con \u00abpumita\u00bb, como material filtrante aut\u00f3ctono, dada sus caracter\u00edsticas porosas y la abundancia del mismo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
