La investigaci\u00f3n se centra en torno a la topolog\u00eda de convertidor multinivel de puentes en h en cascada (cmph). Dentro de ese marco de investigaci\u00f3n, las principales aportaciones de esta tesis han sido la obtenci\u00f3n de estrategias tanto de control como de modulaci\u00f3n, que permiten el equilibrio de las tensiones de bus dc de los convertidores cmph dentro de aplicaciones de tipo dstatcom, que se puedan utilizar con modulaciones a alta frecuencia de conmutaci\u00f3n, y con un reparto equitativo de
