Dentro de las medidas profil\u00e1cticas utilizadas para evitar p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas en la industria de la acuicultura, se ha contemplado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os el uso de probi\u00f3ticos. Los probi\u00f3ticos son preparados microbianos que mejoran la salud y el bienestar animal. A pesar de sus caracter\u00edsticas prometedoras como agentes terap\u00e9uticos y profil\u00e1cticos, los efectos que los probi\u00f3ticos producen sobre el sistema inmunitario de los peces, se desconocen en gran medida. El objetivo global de la presente tesis doctoral es conocer las interacciones que ocurren entre las bacterias probi\u00f3ticas  y las c\u00e9lulas de los peces tele\u00f3steos de inter\u00e9s comercial con un enfoque inmunol\u00f3gico.  la administraci\u00f3n en dieta de cuatro especies de bacterias probi\u00f3ticas en la dorada (sparus aurata l.) Revel\u00f3 que las principales respuestas celulares y humorales innatas de esta especie son moduladas por dichas bacteria probi\u00f3ticas. Destacaron, por alcanzar los mayores valores de estimulaci\u00f3n in vivo, la fagocitosis y la respuesta natural citot\u00f3xica. Se ensayaron tanto especies bacterianas no aisladas de tele\u00f3steos (lactobacillus delbr\u00ed\u00bceckii subsp. Lactis y bacillus subtilis) como otras aisladas de piel de dorada (51m6 y pdp11) as\u00ed como formulaciones consistentes en c\u00e9lulas bacterianas viables o inactivadas por calor. In vitro, las cuatro especies de probi\u00f3ticos ya nombradas tras su inactivaci\u00f3n por calor, estimularon los par\u00e1metros celulares innatos de los leucocitos de ri\u00f1\u00f3n cef\u00e1lico de la dorada de un modo dosis dependiente.  se evaluaron los cambios morfol\u00f3gicos que tiene lugar en la barrera epitelial  intestinal del salm\u00f3n atl\u00e1ntico (salmo salar l.) Tras la exposici\u00f3n frente a bacterias pat\u00f3genas (vibrio anguillarum o aeromonas salmonicida subsp.
