La principal conclusi\u00f3n es que las funciones cognitivas emergen del procesamiento interactivo de informaci\u00f3n entre distintas poblaciones de neuronas altamente interconectadas. Una propiedad intr\u00ednseca y fundamental de estas redes de su car\u00e1cter extremadamente din\u00e1mico (plasticidad neuronal) que permite un alto grado de flexibilidad computacional para desarrollar tareas cognitivas y afrontar los retos planteados por el medio exterior. Las s\u00edntomas neuropsiqui\u00e1tricos pueden explicarse como el producto de patrones de conectividad modificados de modo patol\u00f3gico.  las distintas estrategias terap\u00e9uticas (incluyendo las farmacol\u00f3gicas, rehabilitadoras, neuro-estimuladoras o psicoterap\u00e9uticas) son eficaces si consiguen restablecer un equilibrio homeost\u00e1tico fisiol\u00f3gico de actividad neuronal en los circuitos afectados. Entender los principios que rigen la conectividad neuronal y sus propiedades pl\u00e1sticas se revela como una estrategia fundamental para entender las relaciones entre cerebro y conducta, tanto fisiol\u00f3gicas como patol\u00f3gicas, y plantea nuevas posibilidades para el desarrollo de terapias y m\u00e9todos diagn\u00f3sticos. los siguientes estudios ilustran estas ideas en distintos sistemas funcionales humanos in vivo, tanto en el cerebro sano como en un contexto clinico. los experimentos 1,2 y 3 analizan la relevancia de las din\u00e1micas de circuitos y los procesos interactivos en el estudio de altas funciones cognitivas, analizando el rol de las proyecciones retr\u00f3gradas al &#8212; visual (v1) para la percepci\u00f3n visual consciente.  en el experimento 1, planteamos una tarea de reconocimiento visual de caras mientras aplicamos pulsos simples de estimulaci\u00f3n magn\u00e9tica trascranial (emt) sobre v1 con distintos intervalos post-est\u00edmulo (ipe).
