En la mayor\u00eda de los m\u00e9todos propuestos, la determinaci\u00f3n final se llev\u00f3 a cabo mediante cromatograf\u00eda de gases (gc) como t\u00e9cnica de separaci\u00f3n, acoplada fundamentalmente a espectrometr\u00eda de masas (ms y ms-ms). estos compuestos se liberan directamente al medio acu\u00e1tico a trav\u00e9s de efluentes de origen urbano, industrial o lixiviados, por lo que la investigaci\u00f3n se enfoc\u00f3 hacia muestras acuosas de inter\u00e9s ambiental. los estudios presentados demuestran la viabilidad de la spme para la determinaci\u00f3n de las diferentes familias de contaminantes considerados, siendo en algunos casos la primera aplicaci\u00f3n desarrollada. para la optimizaci\u00f3n de los factores que afectan al proceso de microextracci\u00f3n se recurri\u00f3 al empleo de herramientas quimiom\u00e9tricas, en concreto, los dise\u00f1os experimentales. La aplicaci\u00f3n de dise\u00f1os permiti\u00f3 una selecci\u00f3n m\u00e1s adecuada de las mejores condiciones de extracci\u00f3n y una interpretaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s completa de los resultados al incluir la evaluaci\u00f3n de interacciones entre factores. la evaluaci\u00f3n de los par\u00e1metros anal\u00edticos de calidad de los m\u00e9todos desarrollados, confirmaron la sensibilidad de los mismos, presentando lods muy bajos y obteniendo buena correlaci\u00f3n lineal y precisi\u00f3n en el rango de concentraciones estudiado.
