Hemos  aplicado un m\u00e9todo basado en ond\u00edculas esf\u00e9ricas a los datos del primer y tercer a\u00f1o del sat\u00e9lite  \u00abwilkinson microwave anisotropy probe\u00bb de la nasa, para testar su gaussianidad. La gaussianidad es un rasgo clave para para discriminar entre distintos modelos cosmol\u00f3gicos. El modelo cosmol\u00f3gico est\u00e1ndar predice la gaussianidad de las anisotrop\u00edas de la rfcm mientras que teor\u00edas alternativas como inflaci\u00f3n no-est\u00e1ndar o defectos c\u00f3smicos predicen rasgos no-guassianos. Las coordenadas gal\u00e1cticas de la mancha fr\u00eda son b= -57\u00c2\u00ba, 1= 209\u00c2\u00ba y su tama\u00f1o angular es de unos 10\u00c2\u00ba en el cielo. La probabilidad de encontrar una mancha as\u00ed de prominente en simulaciones gaussianas es muy baja. Como el test aplicado a los datos era ciego, hubo que realizar un duro trabajo para intentar identificar el origen de la anomal\u00eda. Despu\u00e9s de descartar el ruido instrumental y los contaminantes gal\u00e1cticos, analizamos un modelo concreto, el de texturas c\u00f3smicas. las texturas c\u00f3smicas son un tipo de defectos c\u00f3smicos. Seg\u00fan algunas teor\u00edas dichos defectos se formaron en transiciones de fase con ruptura de simetr\u00eda en el universo primitivo. Tras calcular el cociente de probabilidades a posteriori entre el modelo con texturas y el gaussiano, concluimos que la hip\u00f3tesis m\u00e1s plausible es que la mancha podr\u00eda ser la primera detecci\u00f3n de un defecto c\u00f3smico. Por tanto su origen ser\u00eda debido a una textura colapsando. De confirmarse, este resultado tendr\u00eda consecuencias importantes, ya que la detecci\u00f3n de defectos c\u00f3smicos es de gran importancia para las teor\u00edas de f\u00edsica de altas
