El artista se ha convertido, a pesar de las peri\u00f3dicas crisis, en un adelantado de los cambios que luego disfruta la sociedad. Algunos artistas, como es el caso de juan hidalgo, no s\u00f3lo han participado de manera audaz en esa b\u00fasqueda de la libertad sino que han luchado contra la separaci\u00f3n de las disciplinas art\u00edsticas en recipientes estancos. Hidalgo, efectivamente, ha sido y es m\u00fasico, escritor, artista conceptual, fot\u00f3grafo, etc.  creador, en suma, de mundos paralelos que a veces suenan y otras tantas se perciben visualmente. Es un arte total que pasa al esp\u00edritu del p\u00fablico por canales m\u00faltiples y de formas sutiles. Es por ello que su estudio ha de comprometer muchos campos ya que as\u00ed de diverso es el caudal de referencias del que se nutre. utilizando la vida y la obra de juan hidalgo hemos pretendido urdir un hilo conductor que revisite bajo su prisma toda la historia del arte, esa historia del arte a la que, en uni\u00f3n del rito, \u00e9l ha declarado en tantas ocasiones su
