De forma m\u00e1s concreta, se considera el caso en el que la estocasticidad est\u00e1 representada por medio de un \u00e1rbol de escenarios. Para afrontar el crecimiento del tama\u00f1o del problema de optimizaci\u00f3n que es consecuencia de la mejor representaci\u00f3n de la incertidumbre, en esta tesis se recurre a t\u00e9cnicas de descomposici\u00f3n basadas en la descomposici\u00f3n de benders.  los entornos grid est\u00e1n habitualmente formados por equipos heterog\u00e9neos cuya disponibilidad no puede ser asegurada. Para adecuarse a estas caracter\u00edsticas, en esta tesis se propone un m\u00e9todo de descomposici\u00f3n especialmente pensado para entornos grid: la descomposici\u00f3n por escenarios completos. Este m\u00e9todo formula subproblemas independientes entre s\u00ed que no tienen que respetar precedencias en su resoluci\u00f3n, lo que permite aumentar el rendimiento del grid. Adem\u00e1s se analizan otros m\u00e9todos cl\u00e1sicos de descomposici\u00f3n, como la descomposici\u00f3n por nodos, la descomposici\u00f3n por escenarios y la descomposici\u00f3n por sub\u00e1rboles. Para este \u00faltimo m\u00e9todo, en esta tesis se propone una nueva estrategia de formulaci\u00f3n de los sub\u00e1rboles que favorece la convergencia del algoritmo de resoluci\u00f3n. Asimismo, se estudia el problema de asignaci\u00f3n de los nodos del \u00e1rbol de escenarios a los subproblemas fruto de la descomposici\u00f3n. Esta asignaci\u00f3n se generaliza mediante la analog\u00eda con el problema de la partici\u00f3n de grafos, cuyo modelado se estudia en detalle. como principal caso de aplicaci\u00f3n de estas t\u00e9cnicas, en esta tesis se considera el problema de coordinaci\u00f3n hidrot\u00e9rmica. \u00e9ste es un problema de medio plazo que propone programas de funcionamiento \u00f3ptimos para los grupos t\u00e9rmicos e hidr\u00e1ulicos de un sistema el\u00e9ctrico de potencia.
