Las parroquias pertenecen a los ayuntamientos de mux\u00eda, camari\u00f1as y vimianzo. Se estudian un total de 620 obras de las que la mayor parte son esculturas (469piezas) seguidas por la orfebrer\u00eda (86), retablos (42) y pintura (24). se trata de obras de car\u00e1cter popular en su mayor\u00eda, a las que la influencia de santiago llega con dificultad por su situaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica. Sin embargo, destacan las parroquias del eje santuario de la barca (mux\u00eda)- ponte do porto- camari\u00f1as como escenarios de la actividad art\u00edstica m\u00e1s intensa y de mayor calidad del arciprestazgo. Esto se debe a la presencia de artistas de primer orden y sus talleres, procedentes del n\u00facleo compostelano: miguel de romay, domingo antonio de uzal, jose gambino, jose ferreiro, angel piedra, rodeiro, etc.  en cuanto a los artistas originarios de la zona de estudio destacan los orfebres diego de guzm\u00e1n y blas esp\u00edn como los m\u00e1s prol\u00edficos en cuanto a obra y calidad de
