No obstante, la caracterizaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica individualizada de estos componentes todav\u00eda est\u00e1 en una fase inicial debido a las dificultades para obtener contactos el\u00e9ctricos cuyas dimensiones no excedan de pocos centenares de nan\u00f3metros. En esta tesis, se ha desarrollado una nueva metodolog\u00eda de nanofabricaci\u00f3n basada en el uso de t\u00e9cnicas relacionadas con focused ion beam, la cual permite acceder obtener prototipos formados por nanohilos y nanotubos individuales de forma r\u00e1pida y reproducible. Para demostrar la viabilidad t\u00e9cnica de esta aproximaci\u00f3n experimental se ha caracterizado la estabilidad de los dispositivos obtenidos en funci\u00f3n de diferentes par\u00e1metros como la temperatura de trabajo o la corriente aplicada.  estos experimentos han permitido estimar par\u00e1metros intr\u00ednsecos de los nanomateriales estudiados ayudando a aumentar un mayor conocimiento de los fen\u00f3menos que tienen lugar en la \u00abnanoescala\u00bb. Finalmente alguno de estos dispositivos han sido utilizados como sensores de gases, quedando demostrado que su aplicaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica es viable siempre que se resuelvan problemas pendientes que
