Asimismo se ha comprobado que se trata de un metodo muy versatil que permite obtener un gran numero de compuestos con estructura de acidos aceticos alfa,alfa-disustituidos. Se ha realizado un estudio en diferentes medios de reaccion, con diferentes agentes para la generacion de dihalocarbenos, utilizando los sustratos carbonilicos protegidos como acetal o no, hasta obtener las condiciones optimas de reaccion. Se ha realizado la resolucion de la mezcla racemica de acidos (r,s) 2-aril propionicos utilizando para ello la hidrolisis enzimatica de los esteres etilicos utilizando para ello lipasa de candida cylindracea, obteniendose el enantiomero s (farmacologicamente activo) con aceptables rendimientos y elevados excesos enantiomericos. Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio del centro activo de la lipasa, utilizando para ello la hidrolisis de diferentes sustratos acompa\u00f1ada de modelizacion molecular y estudios de correlacion,
