La ingesta proteinica y la disminucion de la masa renal determinan una hiperfiltracion e hipertrofia renales, posiblemente mediados por fenomenos vasculares.  2.-Planteamiento y objetivos: estudio y cuantificacion en humanos de: 2.1) la hiperfiltracion, considerando la ingesta proteinica habitual; 2.2) el da\u00f1o glomerular; 2.3) la hipertrofia renal; 2.4) los mecanismos hemodinamicos implicados, mediante ecografia duplex -doppler (edd); 2.5) los factores condicionantes de estos procesos.  3.-Material y metodos: estudio prospectivo de dos colectivos de pacientes monorrenos: nefrectomizados (n=43); transplantados (n=74), y un grupo amplio de birrenos sanos (n=140).  los datos incluyen: personales, clinicos, analiticos, de tama\u00f1o y hemodinamicos renales mediante edd.
