Se ha medido el coeficiente volumetrico de transporte y obtenido correlaciones dimensionales y adimensionales en un medio sintetico y en presencia de transformacion. Por otra parte, se han comparado los valores obtenidos por las dos formas de operar, poniendose de manifiesto que los resultados obtenidos en caldos de fermentacion son superiores a los encontrados en ausencia de transformacion microbiana.  asimismo, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio del papel del transporte de oxigeno en los modelos cineticos que describen este sistema, considerando por un lado el estudio de la influencia del coeficiente de transporte en los distintos tipos de modelos cineticos de crecimiento, y por otro un estudio parametrico. Por ultimo, se ha desarrollado un modelo semiteorico para la prediccion de este parametro en tanques agitados.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
