El contenido de la memoria gira en torno al estudio del enfoque de la distancia m\u00ednima en dea y los \u00edndices de productividad. En primer lugar se introduce una nueva aproximaci\u00f3n basada en la caracterizaci\u00f3n de todos los puntos pareto-eficientes que dominan a una dmu (decision making unit) a trav\u00e9s de un grupo de restricciones lineales, que permite la determinaci\u00f3n en una \u00fanica etapa de los targets mas cercanos en contraste con otros procedimientos previamente publicados en la literatura. En segundo lugar se estudia el cumplimiento de la propiedad de monoton\u00eda fuerte por parte de las medidas de eficiencia generalizada m\u00e1s habituales, cuando \u00e9stas son derivadas a partir de los targets pareto-eficientes m\u00e1s cercanos. Se prueba que, en general, la propiedad no se verifica. No obstante, se demuestra su cumplimiento en determinadas situaciones de producci\u00f3n restringidas en cuanto a su dimensionalidad y, en el caso de las distancias lp y la medida range adjusted measure, se prueba la propiedad en cualquier dimensi\u00f3n asumiendo una tecnolog\u00eda generada a partir de la extensi\u00f3n de las facetas eficientes. En tercer lugar, se define un nuevo \u00edndice de productividad, denominado \u00edndice de malmquist compuesto, se prueba su coincidencia en el caso de tecnolog\u00edas dea con el \u00edndice de productividad de p\u00f3rtela y thanassoulis, se obtiene su descomposici\u00f3n, se muestran las m\u00faltiples y buenas propiedades que verifica y, por \u00faltimo, se caracteriza de forma un\u00edvoca el \u00edndice mediante la introducci\u00f3n de dos nuevas propiedades, relacionadas con los tests cl\u00e1sicos de la proporcionalidad inversa en los inputs y la proporcionalidad en los
