Sin embargo, los conocimientos sobre su biolog\u00eda y sobre los requerimientos del cultivo intensivo, todav\u00eda son escasos para permitir su producci\u00f3n a nivel industrial. Los objetivos de la presente tesis doctoral son definir de forma precisa los aspectos morfol\u00f3gicos e histoqu\u00edmicos fundamentales que caracterizan el desarrollo y crecimiento de la musculatura axial del dent\u00f3n, as\u00ed como contribuir a la optimizaci\u00f3n de las condiciones medioambientales del cultivo larvario de esta especie. Para ello se han realizado dos experimentos en tanques mantenidos en diferentes condiciones de temperatura.  a partir de los ejemplares de los tanques de referencia se ha estudiado el desarrollo de la musculatura axial mediante microscopia electr\u00f3nica de transmisi\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n se han empleado t\u00e9cnicas histoqu\u00edmicas (matpasa y nadh-tr) para caracterizar los tipos fibrilares. El crecimiento muscular ha sido cuantificado en las larvas de todos los tanques, as\u00ed como en los alevines y juveniles del tanque de referencia. Los par\u00e1metros musculares cuantificados fueron el \u00e1rea total del miotomo, el \u00e1rea media de las fibras blancas y el n\u00famero total de fibras blancas. Adem\u00e1s, se ha medido la longitud de las larvas y se ha observado el desarrollo de las aletas, las escamas, la vejiga natatoria y los somitos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
