Las contribuciones se orientan hacia el modelado el\u00e9ctrico de la l\u00e1mpara y hacia el desarrollo de herramientas que permitan la identificaci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica de resonancias ac\u00fasticas. en la tesis se propone un modelo el\u00e9ctrico para l\u00e1mparas de descarga de alta presi\u00f3n capaz de integrarse en los simuladores electr\u00f3nicos comerciales. El modelo se basa en la conductancia din\u00e1mica de la l\u00e1mpara y se dedujo a partir de unos principios f\u00edsicos elementales. Los par\u00e1metros del modelo, de n\u00famero reducido y con significado f\u00edsico, se estimaron experimentalmente utilizando una l\u00e1mpara de vapor de sodio a alta presi\u00f3n, no requiriendo datos internos de la l\u00e1mpara. El modelo posee un campo de aplicaci\u00f3n amplio pues reproduce el comportamiento de la l\u00e1mpara a alta y baja frecuencia y a distintas potencias de alimentaci\u00f3n, siendo una herramienta \u00fatil para el dise\u00f1o y la prueba de balastos electr\u00f3nicos y tradicionales.  como una contribuci\u00f3n adicional, se ha desarrollado un sistema automatizado de detecci\u00f3n de resonancias a\u00facticas. Este sistema permite obtener el mapa de resonancias de una l\u00e1mpara, es decir, el sistema determina la frecuencia y el umbral de potencia a partir del cual se producen resonancias ac\u00fasticas. esta informaci\u00f3n es fundamental para el dise\u00f1o de balastos electr\u00f3nicos a alta frecuencia. La detecci\u00f3n de resonancias se realiza mediante el an\u00e1lisis de la morfolog\u00eda del arco de descarga y consta de un sistema de proyecci\u00f3n del arco y un conjunto de sensores
