Posteriormente, 32 sustancias y compuestos antioxidantes se han ensayado administr\u00e1ndose antes (preirradiaci\u00f3n) e inmediatamente despu\u00e9s (postirradiaci\u00f3n) de la exposici\u00f3n a una dosis \u00fanica de 2 gy de radiaci\u00f3n para determinar la modificaci\u00f3n de dicha frecuencia de aparici\u00f3n de micron\u00facleos as\u00ed como su relaci\u00f3n con el momento de adminsitraci\u00f3n y la concentraci\u00f3n ensayada.  en las sustancias administradas preirradiaci\u00f3n se ha determinado uan capacidad de protecci\u00f3n que ha sido significativa para las siguientes sustancias (p menor que 0,001): \u00e1cido rosmar\u00ednico, proclanidina (p90), \u00e1cido carn\u00f3sico, procianidina (p-120), diosmina, apigenina-dmso, vitamina e, \u00e1cido g\u00ed\u00a0lico, \u00e1cido ell\u00e1gico, c-50, vitamina c, extracto de hojas de olivo, amifostina, extracto de madera de casta\u00f1o e hidroxitirosol-1.  sin embargo, cuando las sustancias se han administrado inmediatamente despu\u00e9s de la exposici\u00f3n a radiaci\u00f3n gamma, la capacidad de protecci\u00f3n muestra un origen diferente (p menor que 0,001): procianidinas 8p90), \u00e1cido carn\u00f3sico (p-20), apigenina-dmso, vitamina e, procianidina (p55), carnosol, extracto de madera de casta\u00f1o, extracto de granada, apigenina-agua e hidroxitirosol-6.  la amifostina, radioprotector utilizado en cl\u00ednica, s\u00f3lo muestra una moderada capacidad genoprotectora preirradiaci\u00f3n y ninguna protecci\u00f3n si se administra postirradiaci\u00f3n; aunque, en ambos
