Se evalu\u00f3 la relaci\u00f3n entre el estr\u00e9s, la personalidad y valores de los profesionales y se elabor\u00f3 un perfil personal y actitudinal, ideal para no sufrir estr\u00e9s laboral importante, que favorezca la selecci\u00f3n y la formaci\u00f3n del personal. la muestra del estudio se constituy\u00f3 con profesionales que estaban en contacto con personas mayores en centros sociosanitarios de las cuatro provincias de galicia, gestionados por entidades privadas diversas, la mayor\u00eda de ellos pertenecientes a la xunta de galicia. La muestra final la formaron 420 profesionales.  se aplic\u00f3 la entrevista de modo voluntario y an\u00f3nimo, con un cuestionario autoadministrado, en el que se recog\u00edan los datos a partir a) cuestionario de datos sociodemogr\u00e1ficos y organizacionales. B) maslach burnout inventory. C) cuestionario de personalidad \u00abbig five\u00bb y d) cuestionarios de valores de schwartz. de los resultados se deduce 1) que el trabajador sociosanitario muestra un nivel de estr\u00e9s por encima de los puntos de corte establecidos en el cuestionario de maslach. 2) contrariamente a lo esperando, la conflictividad no genera elevados niveles de estr\u00e9s. 3) existe relaci\u00f3n entre determinados factores de personalidad y de dimensiones de valores con el estr\u00e9s. el perfil m\u00e1s adecuado para trabajar en centros gerontol\u00f3gicos y mostrar bajo nivel de estr\u00e9s es, en cuanto a variables de personalidad y valores psicosociales, el de una persona que muestre elevadas puntuaciones en la variable de personalidad de sociabilidad, altas puntuaciones de responsabilidad, bajas puntuaciones en neuroticismo y  bajas puntuaciones en desarrollo personal. a la hora de revisar los datos del maslach bournout inventory, encontramos que en el factor de cansancio emocional el valor medio indica un valor bajo de estr\u00e9s, aunque un cuarto del conjunto de trabajadores sociosanitar<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
