El arte, para este autor, es el \u00f3rgano de comprensi\u00f3n de la vida. Comporta, por tanto, la formaci\u00f3n de nuevos s\u00edmbolos a\u00f1adiendo a las im\u00e1genes cierta carga vivencial del autor. La vivencia se expresa en la creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica: la forma es due\u00f1a ah\u00ed de su contenido, o se torna solidario con \u00e9l. La obra art\u00edstica, por su parte, es recibida por el lector o int\u00e9rprete: es el lugar de la hermen\u00e9utica diltheyana. La comunicaci\u00f3n que el arte establece entre creador y receptor de la obra plantea unos problemas epistemol\u00f3gicos, centrados particularmente en la noci\u00f3n de tipo est\u00e9tico y en el
