En las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, adem\u00e1s de aumentar su frecuencia de aislamiento, ha sufrido una importante evoluci\u00f3n a la hora de desarrollar mecanismos de resistencia a m\u00faltiples familias de antibi\u00f3ticos. En este sentido, el principal mecanismo de resistencia que presenta frente a los antibi\u00f3ticos b-lact\u00e1micos es la producci\u00f3n de enzimas b-lactamasas. En esta tesis doctoral se ha realizado la caracterizaci\u00f3n de la b-lactamasa de clase c de acinetobacter genoespecie 3 y a. Baylyi. Como conclusiones de estos trabajos se ha demostrado la implicaci\u00f3n de estas prote\u00ednas en la resistencia a los antibi\u00f3ticos ?-Lact\u00e1micos, caracteriz\u00e1ndose 15 nuevas b-lactamasas ampc, incluy\u00e9ndose en la clasificaci\u00f3n de ?-Lactamasas-derivadas-de-acinetobacter como adc-5, adc-8 y adc-12-24. Tambi\u00e9n se ha realizado la resoluci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis de la estructura tridimensional de un enzima de clase d carbapenemasa (oxa-24), caracterizada previamente en un aislamiento de acinetobacter baumannii. En este trabajo se concluye que la especificidad de hidr\u00f3lisis sobre los carbapenems que presenta oxa-24 frente al resto de oxacilinasas de clase d es debida a una barrera hidrof\u00f3bica, estructura tipo-t\u00fanel establecida por los residuos tyr-112 y met-223, capaz de regular el paso de los antibi\u00f3ticos ?-Lact\u00e1micos al fondo del centro activo. Y en el \u00faltimo objetivo presentado se estudia la sensibilidad al inhibidor de ?-Lactamasas, el \u00e1cido clavul\u00e1nico, en el genero acinetobacter spp.  Se observ\u00f3 que un 44% de las cepas se mostraron sensibles al \u00e1cido clavul\u00e1nico (cmi ?16 mg\/l). Estas cepas sensibles presentaron adem\u00e1s falso fenotipo blee mediante diferentes t\u00e9cnicas utilizadas en la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica (e-test, microdiluci\u00f3n y disco combinado). Tan s\u00f3lo el ensayo de doble difusi\u00f3n de disco, especialmente con cefepime se presenta como la \u00fanica t\u00e9cnica valida para<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
