Entre \u00e9stos se han estudiado los iluros de carbono muy utilizados en s\u00edntesis org\u00e1nica, asi como su an\u00e1logos de boro donode se dan fen\u00f3menos de hip\u00e9rValencia . Tambien se ha extendido el estudio a iluros de pnic\u00f3geno-pnic\u00f3geno, en los que adem\u00e1s de estudiar el enlace qu\u00edmico se ha hecho un estudio de reactividad de algunos de estos compuestos. Otras estructuras derivadas del triborano, con capacidad de almacenar y desprender hidrogeno, han sido estudiadas con el objeto de exclarecer la naturaleza del enlace qu\u00edmico responsable de su comportamiento. Se han realizado an\u00e1lisis estructurales y energ\u00e9ticos de las estructuras objeto de estudio, seguido de un estudio del enlace qu\u00edmico desde el punto de vista de la denisidad electr\u00f3nica mediante la teor\u00eda qtaim y el an\u00e1lisis elf.
