A parte del dna, la radiaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda afectar otros elementos celulares implicados en la segregaci\u00f3n cromos\u00f3mica originando aneuploid\u00eda, que es la condici\u00f3n donde el n\u00famero de cromosomas de una c\u00e9lula u organismo difiere de un m\u00faltiple exacto del n\u00famero haploide. Podemos distinguir dos tipos de aneuploid\u00eda, la constitucional, cuando todas las c\u00e9lulas del organismo est\u00e1n afectadas y la podemos encontrar en abortos espont\u00e1neos y en defectos del nacimiento;  y la aneuploid\u00eda no constitucional, cuando afecta unas cuantas c\u00e9lulas del organismo, y la m\u00e1xima importancia la encontramos en las c\u00e9lulas tumorales. se  valor\u00f3 la inducci\u00f3n y persistencia de aneuploid\u00eda por los rayos gamma en c\u00e9lulas som\u00e1ticas y en c\u00e9lulas germinales la sensibilidad de diferentes estadios de la gametog\u00e9nesis. el an\u00e1lisis de la inducci\u00f3n de anomal\u00edas cromos\u00f3micas num\u00e9ricas en linfocitos humanos irradiados in vitro a 1, 2 y 4 gy se hizo combinando las t\u00e9cnicas de bloqueo de la citocinesis y la hibridaci\u00f3n in situ fluorescente (fish) con sondas de dna espec\u00edfica para el centr\u00f3mero de tres cromosomas. De esta manera las c\u00e9lulas resultantes de la primera divisi\u00f3n en cultivo quedan englobadas en un mismo citoplasma y se puede evaluar la distribuci\u00f3n de las se\u00f1ales entre los n\u00facleos y\/o los micron\u00facleos. Se observ\u00f3  un incremento estad\u00edsticamente significativo de la frecuencia de micron\u00facleos totales, dependiendo de la dosis que se ajustaba a una curva lineal cuadr\u00e1tica; hecho que indica que mayoritariamente contendr\u00e1n fragmentos ac\u00e9ntricos resultantes del efecto clastog\u00e9nico de la radiaci\u00f3n. Respecto a los mecanismos que originan aneuploid\u00eda, como son la no disyunci\u00f3n y la p\u00e9rdida anaf\u00e1sica, se observ\u00f3 un incremento significativo a 1, 2 y 4 gy para la no
