Estos s\u00edndromes se deben a la oclusi\u00f3n de una arteria coronaria por la formaci\u00f3n de un trombo, cuya causa m\u00e1s frecuente es la aparici\u00f3n de una fisura de la c\u00e1psula fibrosa de las lesiones ateroscler\u00f3ticas. El estudio de los mecanismos que llevan a la trombosis de la placa ha sido uno de los temas clave en la investigaci\u00f3n cardiovascular pero, a pesar de los avances logrados hasta la fecha, seguimos sin conocer en profundidad la fisiopatolog\u00eda de esta enfermedad. La identificaci\u00f3n temprana de pacientes con riesgo de desarrollar sca ser\u00eda de gran importancia ya que podr\u00eda disminuir la mortalidad y morbilidad asociada a esta enfermedad. Dos tipos de muestra de gran relevancia en esta patolog\u00eda (monocitos circulantes y plasma) han sido analizados en la presente tesis doctoral mediante un abordaje prote\u00f3mico, con el objetivo de buscar nuevas dianas que puedan servir para ampliar el conocimiento de los mecanismos moleculares implicadose n los sca. La metodolog\u00eda utilizada, combinando electroforesis bidimensional y espectrometr\u00eda de masas, ha permitido realizar un estudio de expresi\u00f3n diferencial en estas muestras, identificamos varias prote\u00ednas cuyos niveles de expresi\u00f3n se ven afectados por la enfermedad. Estas prote\u00ednas podr\u00edan estar implicadas en la fisiopatolog\u00eda de la aterotrombosis, o incluso llegar a utilizarse como biomarcadores del sca.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
