Esta impureza proceder\u00e1 de la erosi\u00f3n f\u00edsico-qu\u00edmica de los materiales de base graf\u00edtica utilizados en distintos dispositivos de la m\u00e1quina localizados cerca, o de la transmutaci\u00f3n del propio aislante producida por la interacci\u00f3n con los neutrones liberados en la reacci\u00f3n nuclear. Por similitud con lo observado para otras impurezas, el carbono podr\u00eda originar importantes cambios en las propiedades diel\u00e9ctricas de la al\u00famina, llegando incluso a provocar su inhabilitaci\u00f3n. a lo largo de esta memoria se ha llevado a cabo el an\u00e1lisis de la relaci\u00f3n entre las propiedades f\u00edsicas y las caracter\u00edsticas microestructurales de composiciones en el sistema \u00f3xido de aluminio-carbono, con objeto de determinar la influencia que esta contaminaci\u00f3n ejerce sobre las p\u00e9rdidas diel\u00e9ctricas.
