Tambi\u00e9n se utiliz\u00f3 un ajuste de m\u00ednimos cuadrados para el c\u00e1lculo de las pendientes de las regresiones lineales, donde se tuvo en cuenta los errores propios de las variables introducidas en las coordenadas x e y. Se ha combinado un an\u00e1lisis de mezcla para aquellas muestras con una proporci\u00f3n >-50% de cada masa de agua con el modelo estequiom\u00e9trico propuesta por fraga et al. [1998] para cuantificar la importancia del fraccionamiento durante la degradaci\u00f3n de la materia org\u00e1nica. A partir de las anomal\u00edas o residuales que se obtienen del omp se propone un m\u00e9todo alternativo para estimar las tasas de mineralizaci\u00f3n (ours) usando la concentraci\u00f3n de cfcs (para calcular la edad) y la utilizaci\u00f3n aparente de ox\u00edgeno (aou) de cada muestra de agua. el estudio de las relaciones o2\/p\/si en este trabajo apunta a la existencia de un fraccionamiento durante la mineralizaci\u00f3n en las masas de agua del atl\u00e1ntico sur. De hecho se observa que existe una mineralizaci\u00f3n preferente de prote\u00ednas y compuestos de f\u00f3sforo en el oc\u00e9ano mesopel\u00e1gico.  la combinaci\u00f3n de la cantidad de material a mineralizar (z, profundidad) con la calidad del mismo (raz\u00f3n molar c\/n) es la que mejor explica las tasas de mineralizaci\u00f3n obtenidas en las masas de agua de la zona mesopel\u00e1gica del
