Las constantes sinergias que se producen en este campo, as\u00ed como el vigente proceso de concentraci\u00f3n de este sector, han complicado la elaboraci\u00f3n de una definici\u00f3n consensuada del videoclip y han provocado la implicaci\u00f3n de numerosas disciplinas en su estudio. As\u00ed, en los dos primeros cap\u00edtulos se lleva a cabo una revisi\u00f3n cr\u00edtica de los principales m\u00e9todos para el an\u00e1lisis del v\u00eddeo musical. Para poder proceder a plantear una metodolog\u00eda propia y elaborar un marco te\u00f3rico que permita abordar el objeto de estudio de esta tesis el m\u00e9todo comienza con una aproximaci\u00f3n formal al texto audiovisual basado en el concepto de gesto, un movimiento con voluntad expresiva que se genera a trav\u00e9s de la suma del movimiento de los personajes y la c\u00e1mara y la disposici\u00f3n de los planos en la fase de montaje. Posteriormente, se analiza el consumo de los videoclips en su contexto de producci\u00f3n, identificando los principales discursos articulados en estos productos y su relaci\u00f3n con el contexto pol\u00edtico, social y econ\u00f3mico de espa\u00f1a entre 1980-1995. Finalmente, relacionamos ambos aspectos en el estudio del videoclip de rock a principios de los a\u00f1os noventa, demostrando que los par\u00e1metros formales y los discursos articulados en el
