La tesis se organiza en cuatro partes:  en la primera se repasan las propiedades m\u00e1s importantes relacionadas con el formalismo de la cuerda heter\u00f3tica y su compactificaci\u00f3n en orbifolds.  en la segunda se analizan las caracter\u00edsticas principales de un modelo gen\u00e9rico supersim\u00e9trico con tres familias en el sector de higgs. Presentamos  la estructura del potencial de higgs y sus condiciones de m\u00ednimo, obteniendo los estados de masa. Se da una estimaci\u00f3n del fine tuning en la teor\u00eda  y estudiamos la contribuci\u00f3n de estos modelos a fcncs. en la tercera presentamos la estructura de yukawa y las matrices de masa de un escenario de orbifold z3 gen\u00e9rico, teniendo en cuenta las implicaciones de la ruptura f1. Analizamos la viabilidad de dichos escenarios en el sector quark.  en la cuarta realizamos un estudio an\u00e1logo para el sector let\u00f3nico.
