La presente tesis doctoral presenta una nueva aplicaci\u00f3n de esta tecnolog\u00eda. En el presente trabajo se han desarrollado nuevas gliconanopart\u00edculas con propiedades magn\u00e9ticas y con aplicaciones como agente de contraste e resonancia de imagen. Se ha sintetizado y caracterizados dos tipos de gliconanopart\u00edculas: gliconanopart\u00edculas s\u00faper paramagn\u00e9ticas( agentes de contraste de t2) y gliconanopart\u00edculas paramagn\u00e9ticas (agentes de contraste de t1). Con estos sistemas se han realizado experimentos biol\u00f3gicos de citotoxicidad o respuesta celular; adem\u00e1s se ha calculado la relajatividad de cada sistema. Los experimentos in vivo utilizando un modelo de glioma cerebral en rat\u00f3n, confirmaron a nuestras gliconanopart\u00edculas como una buena herramienta en el marcaje de tumores
