Partiendo de la expresi\u00f3n propuesta recientemente por p\u00e9rez-d\u00edaz y garc\u00eda-prada (pdgp) en este trabajo se demuestra que la aplicabilidad de dicha expresi\u00f3n es general y se deriva de las ecuaciones de maxwell y london. Esta expresi\u00f3n, aunque deducida en el caso de exclusi\u00f3n total de campo magn\u00e9tico o estado meissner, permite tambi\u00e9n tratar casos de penetraci\u00f3n parcial de campo magn\u00e9tico o estado mixto superponiendo a la fuerza meissner  la fuerza que ejerce la imanaci\u00f3n del propio superconductor.   se demuestra c\u00f3mo son equivalentes un modelo que concentre todas las corrientes en la superficie del superconductor con un modelo que tenga en cuenta la penetraci\u00f3n del campo magn\u00e9tico en estado meissner. adem\u00e1s y no menos importante, se realiza una interpretaci\u00f3n geom\u00e9trica de la expresi\u00f3n citada que permite demostrar que el factor de ganancia mec\u00e1nica del sistema es igual a 2 de forma local y no s\u00f3lo global. Esto permite tambi\u00e9n interpretar la estabilidad de algunos sistemas de levitaci\u00f3n meissner orientando as\u00ed sobre su dise\u00f1o. finalmente, se calculan casos de geometr\u00edas espec\u00edficas y de posible aplicaci\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica. En concreto se  calculan las fuerzas que aparecen en el caso de un im\u00e1n permanente en el interior de un cilindro de interesantes aplicaciones mec\u00e1nicas.  como conclusiones de este trabajo tenemos pues: 1.\tLa expresi\u00f3n pdgp, as\u00ed validada, es aplicable para el c\u00e1lculo por elementos finitos de cualquier geometr\u00eda con la precisi\u00f3n que se desee. 2.\tSe dispone, as\u00ed, de una herramienta precisa de c\u00e1lculo y de un criterio de dise\u00f1o basado en la interpretaci\u00f3n geom\u00e9trica. 3.\tSe determina las leyes de la mec\u00e1nica de un im\u00e1n en
