Asimismo, los anabolizantes, en ausencia de entrenamiento, ejercen un notable efecto anabolico sobre el musculo esqueletico, en particular sobre la capacidad oxidativa. Por otra parte, se han detectado alteraciones hepaticas en los animales que ingerian anabolizantes, que implican a los sistemas mitocondrial, lisosomial y al reticulo
