Hasta el momento, seg\u00fan el modelo cl\u00e1sico los responsables de regular la progresi\u00f3n durante g1 son los complejos c\u00edclinad\/cdk4, seguida de la actividad de c\u00edclinae\/ccdk2 que fosforilan e inactivan a las prote\u00ednas de la familia rb, permitiendo as\u00ed la entrada en fase s. El estudio del ciclo celular ha aportado grandes descubrimientos sobre la biolog\u00eda de la c\u00e9lula cancerosa, y en concreto sobre los mecanismo que la diferencia de una c\u00e9lula normal. Muchas de las alteraciones que se producen durante la oncog\u00e9nesis  tiene lugar en los elementos que regulan la transici\u00f3n entre las fases g1\/s sobre todo en la v\u00eda rb. Los tumores rb negativos pueden proliferar normalmente pese a presentar elevados niveles de p16ink4a (inhibidor de cdk4). En este trabajo hemos desarrollado poblaciones de c\u00e9lulas tumorales rb negativas con bajos niveles de p16. Esto nos ha permitido comprobar que las c\u00e9lulas rb negativas presentan una regulaci\u00f3n del ciclo alternativa a las c\u00e9lulas normales, esto es debido al alto grado de redundancia existente entre sus cdks, lo que hace que ninguna de las actividades de estas sea imprescindible para la regulaci\u00f3n de nuestro modelo celular.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
